What information do we collect and for what purpose?

Automatically transmitted data

From your computer various data are transmitted to us, these are different depending on browser and operating system type, version and settings.
Some of them can be:
– Browser type/version
– Operating system used
– Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
– Host name of the accessing computer (IP address)
– Time of the server request

This data is not merged with other data sources.

The media provider the non-anonymized storage of such data.

For this reason, IP addresses are removed before they are stored or at least shortened in such a way that they cannot be traced back to a person.
However, if our systems are ever misused for criminal purposes, we may be obliged to store this and other data and hand it over to the investigating authorities. As far as we are allowed, we will inform you in such a case.

In case of an ongoing investigation, we would have to hand over this data to investigating authorities or private persons.
The legal basis for the processing to fulfil our legal obligations is Art. 6 para. 1 lit.c DSGVO.
Your user behaviour will be recorded in server log files in order to analyse technical problems and possible abuse.
The legal basis for this processing to protect our legitimate interests is Art. 6 para. 1 lit.f DSGVO.
The recordings are deleted after 30 days.

Contributions with political opinion

Please note that political opinions may be expressed when writing comments on this website.
These are special types of personal data according to Art. 9 DSGVO.
By using the comment function independently and voluntarily, you give us your express consent in accordance with Art. 9 Para. 2 lit.a DSGVO for the storage and publication of the contributions.
The purpose of a comment function is the (public) provision of the discussion contributions.
For this reason, any content written by you will remain stored until you request that this content be deleted.

You can revoke an already granted consent at any time in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 DSGVO.

Security measures

In accordance with Art. 32 DSGVO and taking into account the state of the kind, the implementation costs and the nature, scope, circumstances and purposes of the processing as well as the varying probability of occurrence and severity of the risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons, we take appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of protection appropriate to the risk.

These measures shall include, in particular, safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data by controlling the physical access to the data, as well as the access, input, disclosure, security of availability and separation of the data relating to them. Furthermore, we have established procedures to ensure that the rights of data subjects are exercised, data is deleted, and we respond to any threats to the data and we take the protection of personal data into account as early as the development or selection of hardware, software and procedures, in accordance with the principle of data protection through technology design and through data protection-friendly presettings (Art. 25 DSGVO).
